Just as a kaleidoscope combines a myriad of fragments to make a beautiful, unified whole so does Kulturnatten allow a multitude of people to become unified for one night through art, science, history and more. Kind of like a cultural kaleidoscope.
This idea was the basis of the concept for a branding assignment for my study abroad design studio. This is one of my favorite projects because it not only reminds me of my time in Denmark but because there was no creative limit to this design challenge.
The kaleidoscope-inspired images were made by taking pictures of Danish culture and altering the images in Photoshop. They are beautiful, eccentric, dynamic and vibrant and represent this yearly culture engagement.
